Velayudham (Tamil: வேலாயுதம்) is an upcoming big budget Tamil Superhero film directed by M.Raja. It stars Vijay, Haniska and Genelia in lead roles. The film was formally launched on July 15, 2010 with its photo shoots taken earlier during the month. Produced byV.Ravichandran's Aascar Flims, the film is currently in its post-production stage and expected to release in September 2011.
