Chinna Thambi is a 1991 Indian Tamil language film starring Prabhu Ganesan and Kushboo Sundar. Chinna Thambi starring Prabhu in the role of Chinna Thambi an uneducated village simpleton and Kushboo as Nandini who is a home tutored wealthy girl, is a story of love, family bonds and typical south Indian village sentiments.Sound track is laid by Illayaraja. Chinna thambi, one of the highest grossers of Tamil fim industry, was said to have collected about Rs. 10 crores overall . All box office records of Tamil movies released before 1992 were broken.
